Anuradhapura City

You will see the pagodas which are sky high just like Egyptian Pyramids. While witnessing Aukana Buddha statue, the Thuparama temple, and the Isurumuniya rock carvings you will lose yourself in amazement.

After breakfast we visit the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa – the medieval Capital of Sri Lanka – 11th Century AD. Polonnaruwa rose to fame after the decline of Anuradhapura. The largest of the man-made reservoirs, the huge Parakrama Samudra, the ruins of the King’s Council Chamber, the Royal Citadel an so many ancient ruins.

Afternoon you will be proceed to one of the most iconic and the most famous destination for the wild. We surely can do a Jeep Safari today. Exploring the wild never ends here yet another day begins to grab you Cameras. This afternoon we take a jeep safari of the Minneriya National Park. It’s the most beautiful destination for enjoy your lovely evening in the wild and watch how animals interact with the Nature.

Late evening, we reach hotel and spend the night in Sigiriya

Sigiriya Rock Fortress :

Sigiriya Rock Fortress, considered one of the amazing wonders of the Ancient World that truly needs to be witnessed to be believed. Located in the interior of Sri Lanka and The magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriya is visible for miles from all directions and dominates the surrounding plain. Sigiriya which was an ancient castle built by King Kasyapa during the 5th century AD is both a palace and fortress.

Dambulla Golden Cave Temple Complex :

A lot of archeological discoveries were made here and all the caves were formed in 3rd century B.C. usually, the rock climbs 160 feet over the surroundings plains. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves which contain both statues and paintings related to the life of Lord Buddha and his life.

Kandy City

Kandy is one of the most ancient cities in Sri Lanka and this city is known as the cultural capital of Sri Lanka as well as it represents the rich cultural heritage of the country. Additionally, the city is beautiful in all aspects and lies in the hills. It’s more suitable for relaxing and reflecting. Kandy gives shelter the tooth relic of the Lord Buddha, in the famous ‘Dalada Maligawa’ or ‘Temple of the Tooth.’ Every year, thousands of visitors are attracted by these temples and these visitors include devotee as well. There are also some other ancient temples alongside some landmarks that include the wonderful Peradeniya Botanical Garden.

En route visit Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala. The city is very close to the Kandy. This orphanage will offer the unique chance to bathe and feed the elephants.
